Yichao Wang started his career at Savile Row in London in 2005, and then studied under an Italian tailor. In 2010, he returned to Xi’an, China, and set up his own custom shop under his name. Samuel Wang embraces diverse influences to graft the most recent technical improvements onto Anglo-Saxon tradition. Central to his approach to tailoring is the concept of treating oneself through clothes designed to last and hand-cut from the materials of choice: the perfect uniform for today’s gentleman.
He participated in the 2024 edition of Milano su Misura, winning the special Spillo d’Oro (Golden Pin) award conferred by the jury of Sda Bocconi students.
