Tailor Francesco Florio wins the fifth edition
On Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, at Palazzo Clerici (Milan), the fifth edition of «Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter» took place, an event organized in collaboration with Loro Piana. During the gala dinner on Saturday, October 25, the winner was announced — the one who best interpreted the theme «Winter Elegance», after careful evaluation by the Technical, Ethical, and Aesthetic Jury, composed of renowned Master Tailors, costume history experts, and leading professionals with specific expertise in the field.
Winter Elegance
The XXV Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina will take place from February 6th to 22nd, 2026.
The theme of the 2025 edition, Winter Elegance, celebrates the encounter between tailoring and winter sports — between precision and lightness, tradition and style.
23 master tailors will take center stage at the event, showcasing their creativity and culture.
Following the thread of history
In 1952, the Festival della Moda Maschile (Festival of Men’s Fashion) was the world’s first event dedicated to men’s wardrobes, to tailors, and to textile producers. After many successful editions, and the long hiatus that followed, Arbiter editor-in-chief Franz Botré resumed the thread of history, renewing its concept and format. In 2020, Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter was launched: a showcase of sartorial mastery that was initially reserved for Italian masters but has expanded to welcome international bespoke cultures since last year.
23 master tailors as protagonists
Twenty-three tailors from around the world will be the protagonists of Milano su Misura – Arbiter Trophy, bringing their creativity and culture. And with fabrics from Loro Piana, sole sponsor of the event that is part of the Cultural Olympiad of Milano Cortina 2026.
Jury expertise
The members of the Technical, Ethical, and Aesthetic Jury satisfy the criteria of competence, experience, knowledge of the history of classic tailoring and of fabrics. They are master tailors of proven reputation, industry journalists, specialists in the subject. And also freelancers, professors, entrepreneurs, and managers: clients who entrust their wardrobe to the talent of their preferred tailor.

Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter is not just a chivalrous competition of master tailors. The 2025 edition’s program blends talks, insights, and convivial moments celebrating the culture of bespoke craftsmanship.
The Importance of Identity
CONFERENCE
The conference “The Importance of Identity”, designed to explore — through a cordial and open exchange of ideas — the relevance of valuing authenticity in its many facets: from the history of a territory to the value of an artisanal product; from the heritage of a brand to the unique traits of bespoke culture.
The panel will consist of experts from the most diverse fields of knowledge and practical application.
The Excellence of Loro Piana
MASTERCLASS
On the morning of Saturday, October 25, Loro Piana will host a masterclass dedicated to the excellence of natural fibres and to the importance of raw materials in the creation of bespoke garments.
A moment of technical insight, but also a source of inspiration for the masters in attendance.
Exclusive dinner for the Tailors and Jury
GALLERIA OF STYLE
The end of the first day is marked by the traditional dinner reserved for tailors and jury members.
The dinner will be held in a magnificent location: the exclusive Sala G. Mengoni on the second floor of chef Carlo Cracco’s restaurant in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
The perfect setting and an ambience appropriate for the occasion, to best enjoy the fully customized menu created by the starred chef and the carefully selected wines.

The closing event of Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter is the gala dinner in Palazzo Clerici’s Sala Pirelli on Saturday, October 25th. As the soirée draws to a close, in a spirit of camaraderie that eases the tension of the contest, the winner will be formally proclaimed.
It will be a significant moment for all the tailors: though there will be only one winner to proudly take home the cup, all the tailors can rightfully be proud of their achievement. An invitation to the world’s most important sartorial event is a recognition of their professional excellence, guaranteed by the reputation of Arbiter and the prestige of Loro Piana.
